What's new in this version: Balsamiq Mockups 3.5.16
- In the editor, when going full-screen, we now appropriately disable links that are attached to controls that are hidden by other controls
- We are working on speeding up the editor's loading time when opening large projects
- We are building a messaging service based on socket.io to power our real-time collaboration features. We are using PubNub right now, but it's getting expensive, and the GDPR work we did recently has convinced us that the fewer outside vendors we use, the better for your privacy
- Speaking of which, we continued moving our server logs from Logmatic to our self-hosted ELK servers
- In our Confluence and Jira Server plugins, we fixed a bug that prevented the download of exported images and projects from the Safari browser
- Our Google Drive plugin now supports Team Drives
- On our website, we re-opened the sponsorship applications form, added 2 job openings, and added some navigation links in the footer
- We made some updates to the Managing Projects documentation article for Balsamiq Cloud, to clarify how to move projects between Spaces
- We updated our site and docs to add links to the Google Marketplace page to our Google Drive add-on
- In light of the recent US Supreme Court decision about internet sales taxes, we added a state-by-state report to our back-office accounting web app
- On WireframesToGo, we added a new "Circular Page Indicator" symbol to the Pagination Controls library

New App Bar Control:
- Formerly known as the Android Action Bar, the App Bar is useful for designing material design inspired UIs, but also lots of other mobile screens
- It's a powerful, flexible and very handy control, check out those inspectors!
New Android Time Picker Control:
- We kept this super-simple
- It's the android Time Picker. The CANCEL and OK labels are linkable, and it tells the current time
New Android Date Picker Control:
- This one is simple as well, it doesn't need much customization aside from showing either a monthly calendar or year view, just like the real Android picker
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- When you transform a control to a Shape control, we now automatically select the Rectangle shape instead of the ellipse. It just makes more sense
- Fixed a typo in the Field Set property inspector. Thanks Sarah E. for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with colors getting preserved erroneously when transforming some control types to others. Thanks Berthold N. for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with the text alignment in the Popover control

Stretchy iPhones, iPads and Smartphones:
- We know many of you want to wireframe mobile pages and screens that don't fit in a single screen
- With today's release, you will no longer need to use a rectangle control instead of the phone control. You can just stretch the phone or iPad down!
- Thew new option is the default for new controls. Existing wireframes won't be affected
41 New Icons with FontAwesome 4.7:
- We incorporated version 4.7 of FontAwesome, so now you can take advantage of the 41 new icons they added
Other Bug Fixes and Improvements:
- Fixed an issue with the ω character in Balsamiq Sans
- Fixed an issue with exporting mockups that have alternates to BMML ZIP

- We had some users report that drag+drop wasn't working in macOS Sierra, which shipped yesterday. We scrambled to find a workaround, and we did!

- Fixed an issue with creating a text link to a new mockup in the Text control
- Fixed an issue with the button icon color when the button is disabled and the background is dark
- Fixed an issue with the order of icons returned by the icon inspector
